Object Relations Supervision Group
This is an on-going supervision group designed to help mental health professionals, mediators, lawyers and other professionals dealing with difficult patients/clients by offering newer in-depth concepts, approaches and techniques of contemporary psychoanalytic thinking. The purpose is to provide an overview integrating classical psychoanalysis, object relations, and self-psychology.
Participants will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the many valuable concepts abstracted from Freud, Klein, Winnicott, Fairbairn, Bion, Kohut, Grotstein as well as newer more contemporary approaches. Supervision groups are for six weeks. Participants will have an opportunity to apply these various approaches to their own clinical work through case presentations. Groups usually meet Saturday mornings for six weeks, 8:30-9:45 a.m.; also Mondays, 6 -7:45 p.m. Requirements, must be licensed. Online groups also available.
